parkour coach Romana Hladíková
All Coaches BrnoI started parkour in 2013 with my best friend. I come from a small spa town in western Bohemia, where at the time the two of us trained on our own. Later, I started traveling to training sessions in nearby towns, to parkour events, and to competitions around the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2018, I managed to compete at the international event Airwipp in Sweden.
I’ve never really stuck with any activity for very long, but parkour is the exception. What I enjoy most about it is its variety, the opportunity for creative thinking, and the physical and mental demands that training sometimes requires. Parkour gives a person plenty of movement skills and fundamentals for different sports, a certain perspective, and discipline. As a coach, I try to pass on this well-rounded movement versatility.
In individual training sessions, I work with my trainees on both the technical elements of parkour and acrobatics, as well as developing strength and mobility. The minimum age is 8.
