Planning a birthday or a sleepover?
We offer full gym rentals for day and night
Are you into parkour videos or action movies? Love moving, jumping, climbing? Want to work on yourself and overcome obstacles while masterfully controlling your body? Want to learn to work with your own fear and develop both physically and mentally? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the IMA parkour club is the right place for you!
Everyone can enjoy parkour. We won't demand sports performance right away. We'll start gently. Parkour is an activity focused on general motor development, suitable for both young and old. Our experienced coaches will safely introduce you to the world of movement to prevent injuries when practicing new elements like basic flips. The experience gained in our club can also be applied in your own training outside the gym. We'll teach you principles that will allow you to train safely on your own.
Our gyms are fully equipped for parkour training. For example, vaults are practiced on boxes of various sizes - wooden and foam, with and without mats. The techniques learned this way are then used by the children throughout the gym.
Our coaches approach children in a friendly manner. Parkour has no strict rules; it is about free movement, which is reflected in the way the training is conducted. The priorities are safety, proper physical development, and fun.
Our gym is a real playground for children. We use the entire body, jump, climb, vault, do flips... and along the way, we also learn proper movement habits.
The final video of one training group in the Benjamin age category from the spring semester of 2018. Under the guidance of coaches, the children practiced a group choreography showcasing their skills.
Our classes are safer than they might seem at first glance. We find that children are more likely to get injured at trampoline centers or playing soccer than with us. Children instinctively feel that they need to be cautious with hard obstacles. Moreover, we lead them towards responsibility and the ability to assess their capabilities.
The final video of one training group in the Junior age category from the spring semester of 2018. Each participant created their own sequence of tricks they wanted to perform. The coaches helped, and after several attempts, everything was successfully recorded.
The foam pit is probably the most popular spot in the gym. We practice more challenging elements like flips into the foam cubes. Or we just dive into the foam for fun.
Our coaches can command respect from children just by what they themselves are capable of jumping. For some children, they are not just coaches but also role models they want to emulate.
Mostly boys attend our classes, but almost every training group also has a few girls. And they hold their own, doing everything the boys do, and sometimes even more.
Besides jumping, children experience various adventures with us. For instance, they had to navigate the entire gym without touching the ground. You won't find a better setting for the 'Floor is Lava' game anywhere!
Many of our proteges who have persisted with parkour have made this sport a lifestyle. The tricks they perform today can even amaze the founders of In Motion Academy. And for those whose interest in parkour has waned, the skills and movement habits they acquired remain useful throughout their lives.
Our gyms are the best playgrounds for children. Thanks to movable obstacles, they never enter the same gym twice. There are so many possibilities that children always have something to look forward to.
It's easy to jump into the pit, but sometimes it's harder to get out. Coach Tomáš helps one of the participants climb out.
Those who can easily flip into the foam pit can start trying to land the flips onto mats.
When practicing new techniques where there's a risk of stumbling and falling, our coaches usually provide a spot. They stand ready to intervene if something goes wrong.
Among our coaches are parkourists who rank among the Czech elite. For example, Tomáš Zonyga, one of the pioneers of parkour here and a founder of In Motion Academy, still actively leads classes.
