I first encountered parkour through the film District 13 when I was fourteen. So I talked most of the boys in my class into it, and we’d go outside, climb up walls and jump off them—and it has stayed with me to this day.

For me, parkour is about the joy of movement, about overcoming yourself—about working with fear. When I started, I was really afraid of a lot of jumps, and often it was harder for me to overcome the fear than to do the actual jump afterwards.

What I enjoy about coaching is exactly the opportunity to support and be part of this process, when trainees overcome their limits or simply enjoy movement as such.

I first led parkour classes in 2014 at TJ Sokol Mladá Boleslav. I have experience not only with classes, but also with camps, day camps, full-day workshops, and all kinds of events connected to parkour.

Currently, through parkour, I’m involved in the theatre production Krajina 0 at the Divadlo na Fidlovačce. I take part in parkour competitions—mainly in skill and speed formats. I hold the Parkour Instructor II license.

I love movement as such; besides parkour I ride a longboard, snowboard, skates, and I like trying different movement activities—recently, for example, windsurfing. Outside of parkour, I’m interested in self-development and psychology—recently I completed a year-long coach training program.
